Hi Pam-
Neat that you are working with CCC stuff. We have a small amount but not too
much. Our uniform collection consists of Norwich Uniforms and Army uniforms-
they range in date from the early 1800's to current.
Funny you are working on the photographic collection...that is the next
collection I am working on tackling because it is a perfect job for my only
employee who works 1 day a week. Any recommendations about starting from
scratch. The photos are all in boxes. We have archival folders and
sleeves. What is the best way to organize, clean, and inventory a
collection like this? We also use Past perfect 4.0 and have a scanner. I
have been thinking clean (with a photo cloth), scan into PP 4.0, and then
either store in a file or archival sleeve in a file. What is the best way to
put them into PP? One at a time or in groups by type (people, sporting
events, buildings, etc)
