The WAC Museum at Ft. McClellan, the only accredited museum in the
nation focusing on women's military history, is in imminent danger of
being moved and downsized or even of being closed entirely.

The Army believes that the WAC Museum is important only to women
veterans and its own active duty women. Before it is too late it is vital
that all Americans who value women's history make their voices heard to
protest plans to move the museum from its current location. The museum
is currently housed in a building that was specially designed for its
collections; it was paid for by private funding raised by former WAC.

To learn more and for a convenient link to register your protest with
members of Congress and the media, please visit the Save the WAC
Museum web site
