There is a list already in existence for museums and the web, called
MUSWEB-L, if anyone is interested.  Its subcription address, I believe,
is [log in to unmask]

Its traffic, though, is very sporadic.  I'd be happy to participate in
web-based discussions on Museum-l, too.  My position is somehat unique
here in that I am director of a gallery, AND producer/creative director
for the college's website.  (www.artcenter.edu, or the gallery direct at
www.artcenter.edu/exhibit/williamson.html).
