The following position is now available at the Old Fort Lauderdale Village 
and Museum.

Curator of Collections

The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society operates six buildings in the Old 
Fort Lauderdale Historic Village.

Currently seeking a Curator who is responsible for all aspects of 
collections development and management. Design and production of temporary 
and permanent exhibits in the Old Fort Lauderdale Museum of History (ca. 
1905 building) and the King-Cromartie House (ca. 1907) is also a major 
responsibility.

Computer skills essential. Grant writing and management, retail sales and 
graphics experience a plus. The Curator joins a dynamic team and provides 
historical input to all facets of the exhibits, programs, grants and 
docent training.

The position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and public 
speaking skills.

Qualifications:

-Graduate degree in Museum Studies, History or related field.
-Minimum of four years progressive experience in the field of Museum 
Collections Management.

Salary $40,000 with full benefits package.
