For our important New York City art gallery client we are seeking a
Registrar.  The successful applicant will work with the Head of
Exhibitions to implement exhibition needs, handle all domestic,
international and local shipping, oversee framing, take digital
photographs for archival purposes, coordinate installations, oversee
consignments for galleries and museums, provide registrarial assistance
at art fairs and auctions, manage all reproduction requests and research
works of art as necessary.   The ideal applicant will have at least 3
years experience as a Registrar at an art gallery and possess excellent
writing, organizational and multi-tasking skills.  BA required;
knowledge of 20th century and contemporary art preferred.  Salary to 40K
