Susan-
There's a great program being offered by the Boston Museum of Science called the Science of Service. They hold a three day conference where they put you through their staff training program as if you were a new employee there, then spend the last half training you on how to
bring back and implement the Program at your institution, with whatever modifications you'd like to make.
I attended last September with two colleagues, and now we've begun our version of the Program here at the New York Hall of Science. I'd be happy to let you know more about the curriculum, what's involved, etc. if you'd like to email me off list.
