THE THIRD ANNUAL DIRECTORS FORUM

I am writing to remind you that the Third Annual DIRECTORS FORUM will be
held in New York City, onNovemeber 10-12, 1996. A program of the AFA,
this annual meeting has quickly emerged as a vital resource network for
the leaders of small- to medium-sized art museums. DIRECTORS FORUM
provides a unique forum for both structured and informal discussion of
the specific challenges that confront decision makers in the art museum
community every day. The three-day program includes general sessions,
workshops, discussion groups, special museum and collections visits, and
private receptions.

DIRECTORS FORUM is open to full-time directors of not-for-profit art
museums and galleries who are not members of AAMD. Specifics about this
year's meeting follow:

The American Federation of Arts is a not-for-profit organization that has
