You know, some of us encourage others not to polk fun
of or say things that would be offensive to nations
other than the US.  We remind one another that this is
a multinational list.

While there are, I'm sure, many who might think that
America is batty (and worse), I, for one, would expect
the same courtesy.

I can make fun of me and mine, but I wouldn't
publically make fun of you and yours.

Worth some thought because there are a whole lot of
people who are apt to get offended and start another
flame war.

The comment that Americans are batty is basically a
political statement and doesn't belong in this forum
in my not so humble opinion.
