and my reply:

Oh golly .. I may have "Roy-erized" the exact phrase .. was it "sleep" or
simply a reference to a posture somewhat *north* of horizontal .. I was
simply contemplating a webpage I'd happened upon in the past .. However I
can appreciate some potential truth in this .. even if you're asleep, an
elevated posture would help  one assess their environment with less effort
than totally reclined .. (UPRIGHT: "wake up, open eyes, look at fire ..
versus RECLINING: wake up, lift head up, lurch up on elbow, roll over, open
eyes, look at fire)

Or possibly I simply need more sleep myself ;-)

On a somewhat related topic .. now I'm musing over the criteria for what
makes a "believable lie/halftruth" .. seems to me that if something makes
enough sense .. then it can be easily accepted/perpetuated .. Oh, so many
topics, so few hours ..
