one suggestion i might make regarding improving the exhibition/cenetre is to
rename it.

i have been quite surprised at the degree to which sexist language such as
"man and his work" is used in the museum world.. i suspect that women did
lots of work in ancient israel and are responsible for any amount of
material culture left lying around.

the fact is that this sort of language is not neutral and a title such as
"man and his work" sends a very negative, exclusionist and inaccurate
message about "daily life in the Land of Israel through all periods."

maybe the language and its implications are different in the hebrew (but i
doubt it).

is it that hard to change?.........
