Fall 1999 Internship
Apply Now

The Institute for Learning Innovation is currently accepting applications
for their fall 1999 internship position. Applications will be accepted
through August 31st.

The Institute is a non-profit organization, which works to describe, assess
and advance learning both in free-choice settings and in the formal
education system. The organization's focus is in three distinct yet
integrated areas: research and evaluation, professional development, and
learning resources development. The collective experience of staff gives
the organization expertise across a wide variety of disciplines including
art, history, and science. Further information, visit their website
located at <www.ilinet.org>.

This internship is a full-time, three-month position, beginning in
September/October 1999 and continuing through December/January 1999/2000.
This schedule is flexible in order to accommodate both the applicant's and
the organization's needs and interests. A modest stipend is offered to the
intern to help defray the cost of living. Interns can pursue interests in
informal learning and acquire hands-on experience in all aspects of
evaluation and research. There are opportunities to help with the
development of educational resources, to organize and engage in
professional development, and to become involved in other facets of our
organization that match your interests.

Students working toward a graduate degree and professionals in the field
are encouraged to apply. Interested candidates should send a cv/resume,
three letters of reference, and a letter of intent to: Institute for
Learning Innovation, 166 West St., Annapolis, MD 21401. Attention: Jessica
Luke. For further information, please contact Jessica at (410) 268-5149 or
