Perhaps wording that states exactly what you said..."15 lithographs of two
nude women in realist and abstract forms". Clear, concise, easy to
understand. As a parent, field trip coordinator and one of those persons who
loves being an American because I can be Puritanical or Pagan. I do however,
like to know what I am getting myself into. Especially if we are learning
about the differing styles, forms or artists.

Subject: Re: [MUSEUM-L] Nudity in Exhibitions?

As a museum professional and a parent, I would expect to see nudity in an
art museum, but that's just me. I think warning school groups is fair (so
the teacher can pre-teach), but I wouldn't worry about warning individual
visitors.

Funny story, last year I was in Paris and saw L'Origine du monde. As I was
trying to read the sign (my French is pretty bad) a school group came up
behind me. I would guess they were about 6 or 7 years old, and their guide
was pointing and explaining the painting to them. Not even a giggle from
them, but I was very embarrassed being trapped very close to that painting
for a long time surrounded by little kids nodding complacently at the tour
guide's description of the female anatomy. Stupid Puritan American Culture.
