Phyllis,
You may want to try contacting the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester, MA.
They would know.

Subject: VIKING SWORD

Can anyone tell me the average size - length, width, depth - of an ancient
viking sword. We don't have Viking items in our collections, but need to
know for an upcoming event.

Thanks,
Phyllis
