Dear listers,
Regional museums, archives, and cultural centers will both contribute and
be served by a proposed South Atlantic Regional Humanities Center (SARHC).
How SARHC evolves will depend on the effectiveness of the collective voice
of our field. On behalf of the consortium proposing the center, I've made a
commitment to draft a statement which will both express our professional
concerns as well as indicate support of such a proposal on behalf of
colleagues who represent various regional museums, archives, and cultural
centers.

I am looking for a few more museum professionas, in particular from
Florida, Georgia, and Puerto Rico who are interested in this idea enough to
lend your name to its support.
