The most unforgettable exhibits for me are those that I feel a personal
connection to, through family or personal experiences. A specific example
is the Utah Beach D-Day Museum in Normandy. I attended the D-Day
ceremonies at Utah Beach last year with my father, an American D-Day
veteran. It was one of the most moving experiences of my life to visit the
beach, and the museum built around a German bunker. The museum staff
didn't have to do anything spectacular; in this case the best approach was
to let the site speak for itself.
