September 13, 2005

There will be three drop off sites in South Carolina for items going to
cultural institutions and museums affected by Katrina.

Low country:
Charleston Museum (360 Meeting Street, Charleston); call Sharon Bennett,
843.722.2996, ext 243 or Jan Hiester, ext 251; it would be best if you
could call before coming by with supplies.
Midlands:
South Carolina State Museum, Loading Zone D (301 Gervais St., Columbia);
there is someone on site 24/7; if you have any questions, call
803.898.4954.
Upstate:
Spartanburg County Historical Association (100 East Main Street,
Spartanburg); call 864.596.3501 with questions.

PLEASE HAVE ALL SUPPLY ITMES TO THESE LOCATIONS BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER
16TH. A TRUCK WILL BE HEADING TO THE SEMC OFFICE IN ATLANTA SHORTLY
AFTER THAT WITH THE DELIVERY.

The supply list is attached again and any checks came be made out to
SEMC Hurricane Relief (or something like that).

Please forward this email to any interested individuals or lists
especially to those who received the first one.

Thank you,

Michelle McKee Baker
