Waterloo Village, a National Registered Historic Site in Allamuchy Mountain
State Park, New Jersey, is seeking to fill to important positions:
Executive Director and Director of Education. Waterloo Village includes a
recreated Lenape Indian Village, 28 original Colonial and Victorian
buildings, a concert tent and festival field, a significant catering
business, and a gift shop.

Executive Director
Waterloo Village is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with
strong leadership, management and entrepreneurial skills to develop and
implement a plan for expanded growth in interpretative programs and
visitorship.  The Executive Director reports to the Board of Trustees,
administers a $2 million budget, and oversees 10 full-time and 40 seasonal
employees.  The Executive Director must be able to broaden Waterloo's
financial support, insure the highest quality educational programming and
visitor services, and develop a broad constituency of visitors and
supporters.  Qualifications include an advanced degree, and five to eight
years experience in managing a museum, historic property, or other cultural
site at increasingly senior levels.  Experience in program and audience
development, fundraising, and strategic planning essential.  For further

Director of Education
Waterloo Village is seeking a Director of Education to develop and implement
high quality school, family and adult educational programming.  The Director
of Education reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for
designing and managing interpretative programs, curriculum guides and other
resources; developing special educational exhibits, activities and events;
and creating multiple educational initiatives for a wide variety of visitors
and special audiences.  Qualifications include an advanced degree in museum
education, museum studies or related field, and three to five years
