Resources Plus, a consortium of cultural institutions in the
Waterloo/Cedar Falls community of N.E. Iowa has prepared an economic
impact statement for several years. I believe this is the first year
that the effort has been aborted. For a myriad of reasons it is not an
easy task to compile financial information for a communities cultural
base. The information was then provided to tourism agents (chambers,
etc.) and political bodies.  The present President of Resources Plus is
Barbara Roeder, mailto:[log in to unmask] who I'm sure can provide
you with the numbers, perhaps even copies of the statement itself. If
that fails, contact me and I'll see if we have some copies, since the
numbers were crunched by our secretary.
