The Collections Task Force for a new building for a local Science /
Natural History Museum is in need of information to help negociate and
secure adequate space for the planned collections storage and
conservation department.
Your help would be greatly appreciated if you could provide the
approximate statistics of your museum. We need :
1. Actual square footage of Collections Storage space; in square feet
and as a % of total space.
2. Actual square footage of Conservation Department space; in square
feet and as a % of total space.
3. Type of Collection
Your help in this is greatly appreciated and please send your responses
directly to the undersigned. I will gladly send the composite results
to anyone interested but will maintain strict confidentiality of
individual respondents.
