In the Spanish Armada of 1588 ca.1/3 of the ships, the urcas or tran-
sports, had their homeports in the Baltic region. They were chartered
from the Hansa by the Spanish Crown.

In the Spanish muster lists it is clearly said for a couple of ships
that they came from Hamburg and Rostock. This fact is well known,
and is mentioned by Martin and Mattingly.

Anybody knows about this or can mention any litterature in the field.
German, Polish etc.
I have so far only find a small note, that a ship, from a port in the
Baltic, took part in the Armada campagin, in a german ship list published
in the 1920's.

There is many traditions in Scandinavia that some of the ships from the
Armada were wrecked on the coasts of Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
