8 formatted.  Moderate the jealousy.

I haven't seen a backup program yet that works in windows95 that'll go
through its paces unimpeded.  My own (software is Seagate; hardward Iomega)
stops when it finds certain files and refuses to back them up. I assume
that these are open files that are constantly changing.  Unattended backups
are a kind of fiction.

Incidentally, the original 9gig (Nov 96) was a full-height 5 1/4 drive and
nearly 10 pounds in weight. The replacement 9gig (May 97) was 1/2 height 3
1/2 inch 3 pounder.  Wow!
