We are putting a new driveway in front of our Historic House Museum. My
director came to me today and asked if I would research a form of driveway he
had seen at Mount Vernon (anyone here from Mount Vernon?).

The driveway, as he describes it, is a type of asphalt (perhaps) with shells
inlaid on the surface. It provides a suitable walkway for strollers, etc. and
our committee has deemed it appropriate aesthetically but I need some more
information on the time-frame of such driveways and perhaps companies who
perform such work.

Any ideas?
