I clearly remember coming across a museum website recently (a week
ago?), that currently has an Egyptian show on. On their homepage they
prominently dispayed a note recommending it for people with low vision.
Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the museum. My perfunctory
search didn't render much, but this:

Also look at this:

excerpt: Hall 44's circular exhibition area includes relief drawings of
some of the items on display, for the benefit of blind children. According
to Danielle Wozny, one of the organizers of the exhibition, one of the
show's main aims is to acquaint children, including those with
disabilities, with the concepts of beauty. Several workshops have been
held in all of the participating museums to simplify the concepts
introduced. These workshops included a perfume session in which children
were taught how to mix their own perfumes.

Hope this helps.
