MEET ANNIKA BLACK!

I have a BA from Alfred University with a seld
designed major in Art, Museum Studies and
Entrepreneurship.

I also was fortunate to partake in American
University's Washington Semester in Art, Architecture,
History and Cultural Policy. This is a program where
you have classes three days a week and an internship
two days a week. I was lucky that I got to intern at
the beautiful and exciting Historical Society of
Washington, D.C., also known as the Heurich House in
Dupont Circle. It was one of the best semesters of my
college career.

For my senior thesis I curated, directed and produced
an exhibition entitled,"Women Entrepreneurs from the
Alfred Community." It included 18 women alumna from
Alfred University and women from the surrounding
areas.

I graduated in December 2000 and am currently working
for Americorps*Vista(Volunteers in Service To America)
in Baltimore, Maryland.
