As a curator trying to use TMS, I am not at all happy with the many steps one goes through to perform the simplest data entry tasks. It is probably fine for art museums, but ours is primarily a historical collection, and necessary information isn't where I need it. Many fields are confusing or redundant, and it's difficult to sort or find objects using some fields.

Another drawback is that we can't display the list of the entire database at once. It will only show a limited number of entries.

A minor annoyance is that the TMS screen cannot be made smaller so you can see other things on your computer screen. It sounds like a little thing, but it's quite a headache to minimize it every few seconds when I want to look at another program.

Dear Fellow Registrars,

Do any of you use iO collections software?

how about TMS or TMS Light?

Are you happy with it?

Is your curator happy with it?

thanks for your input, we are trying to decide which one to buy, we now have
SNAP and are not happy with the limitations
