The 10th Conference on Fossil Resources, originally scheduled to be held in June, has had to be postponed for a year because of Federal travel restrictions arising from sequestration. This was a sad but necessary decision. We will post new plans as they are developed.
 
The 28th meeting of the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections WILL go on as scheduled during the week of June 17-22. We are looking forward to a lively and productive meeting. A slightly revised schedule and fee structure will be posted on the website later this week, along with lodging and travel information.
 
We apologize for any inconvenience and extend our sympathy to Federal colleagues whose plans have been disrupted by the sequester decisions.
