Mr. Hanable,
Just a quick note on using old glass for
anything. I use many pieces of old glass shelving
in my conservation work because they are cheap and
I don't lift or use them for supports, just as
pallets for paint. However, I have noticed that
whatever their thickness, the edges chip easily
and with great frequency. I hate to think of them
tearing at the clothing or skin of workers in the
stroage areas.
