Education Coordinator

The Chemung Valley History Museum in Elmira, NY seeks a full-time person 
responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing all public programs 
and services for adults, children, school groups, teachers, and visitors. The 
Education Coordinator will work with the Director/Curator and the Archivist to 
develop integrated programming for all museum constituencies. Duties include 
supervising volunteers, audience development, evaluation/assessment of 
programs, grant preparation, and implementing segments of the strategic plan. 
Qualifications: museum and teaching experience; master’s degree in 
education, history, or related field; strong communication and teamwork skills.
