Cecelia & All Those Interested:

I have two suggestions for you to gather information on museum security:

1) Contact Paul G. Schneider, Jr. of Heritage Protection, located in
Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (518) 584-7918 I'm sorry--don't have his e-mail.
Paul is an expert in creating an unified protection program for all kinds of
historical agencies and resources. He regularly presents to the Curatorial
Practices course of the Public History Program at the University at Albany
(SUNY)--which is taught at the Albany Institute of History & Art.

2) Try this site: http://museum-security.org

Hope this helps!

Subject: Security/Gallery Representative checklists

I was wondering if anyone has an example of a security checklist used by
Gallery Representives or security guards. Thank you!
