Position Title:		Information Systems Manager 
Reporting Department: 	Programs Department
Reporting Supervisor: 	Programs Manager
Status: 			Non-exempt - Full Time

PURPOSE:
The Information Systems Manager works with the Visitor Services Manager to facilitate a positive visitor experience and institutional brand by coordinating the marketing and reservations of the visitor experience via technology, coordinating the visitor experience with other Minnetrista staff, and supervising the visitor services part-time staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in information systems. Equivalent experience to the degree considered. Requires 2-3 years data base administration experience (museum/educational institution experience preferred). Familiarity with MSSQL code and experience working in customer service are a plus, including marketing data capture and analysis. Should communicate well orally and in writing with visitors, co-workers and supervisors. Must be able to work individually and collaboratively with colleagues. Must be able to coordinate and manage numerous projects simultaneously. Must have leadership experience, whether through direct supervision or peer leadership.  Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. A valid driver's license is required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.	Your first priority and responsibility is to achieve the organization's purpose. In other words, you in particular are responsible for everything -vision, values, mission, goals and strategies.
2.	Your second priority and responsibility is to help others achieve the organization's purpose.
3.	Your third priority and responsibility is to carry out your job function.
*	Facilitate the administration and use of the institutional reservations & resources database, including determining database organization, report needs and training
*	Assist the Visitor Services Manager to develop, implement and assess visitor services model for Minnetrista
*	Assist the Visitor Services Manager in supervising the visitor services part-time staff
*	Manage the reservations, coordination and processes for in-house facility resources
*	Determine reporting needs from the reservations and resources database and write the code to run these reports using Crystal Reports
*	Assist the Visitor Services Manager  to develop & administer the visitor services budget
*	Sell, book and schedule programming, including video conference programs
*	Directly facilitate the visitor admissions experience on a regular and as-needed basis
*	Assist the Visitor Services Manager  to develop and facilitate the volunteer/intern program for visitor services
*	Assist staff to develop and improve institutional information systems
*	Perform all other duties required.
