My name is John Kovach. I am an experienced museum professional who is
seeking a return to that field.
     From 1991-96, I was the Executive Director of the National New York
Central Railroad Museum. I have also served as Director of the Hannah
Lindahl Children's Museum from 1988 to 1991 and before that, I was a
Curatorial Assistant and Education Director for the Northern Indiana
Historical Society from 1984-88.
     Since 1996, I have been the Archivist for Saint Mary's College.
     I have been involved with all aspects of museum work including: writing
grants; managing a giftshop; researching/constructing both permanent and
changing exhibitions; docenting tours; public relations; overseeing a
historic, multi-building site; managing budgets of $200,000+ and cataloging
of permanent collection artifacts.
     I would entertain and respond to all inquiries from just about any
areas of the US.
