Visitor research, audience study, program evaluation, professional
development ... are you, your colleagues, or your students engaged in
research about museum education, interpretation, or staff/volunteer
development?

We are compiling a list of such projects for the AUGUST issue of MUSEUM
EDUCATION MONITOR (MEM). If you would like your project to be included,
please send an e-mail to [log in to unmask] that summarizes:

- name of project
- research question(s) [no more than 50 words, please]
- principal researchers
- site(s) where research is being conducted
- time span
- contact information
- key words to describe the project [no more than 4 or 5, please]

Deadline for submissions for this issue is Friday, August 12, 2005.

Our goal as a publication is to connect existing researchers with one
another and to encourage museum workers overall to undertake and share
their own investigations. The information will be shared initially only
with subscribers to Museum Education Monitor but will be available on a
continuing basis in the MEM Archives
http://www.mccastle.com/archives.asp.

volunteer-directed research within museums and galleries, academic
