An interesting program would be an historical tableau. "In Canada's
Defense" Highlighting soldiers and sailors in Canadian history. We do
something like that here in "Cav Country". We put on a program where living
history participants wear replica uniforms from the history of the US
Cavalry. We have each period comes forward as a narrator describes the time
period and uniforms and equipment. We also period music in the background.
We get quite involved using horses, helicopters and tanks.

Another suggestion is a program on 50th Anniversary of the Korean War. I am
sure Canada play role in that war.

Subject: rememberance day programming

Hi everyone

Myself and a co-worker were tossing around ideas today about designing a
rememberance day programme for the military museum and i was wondering if
anyone could offer some advice about how to handle it, what worked or
didn't work for you, etc. this is a canadian museum, somewhat small but
we have an excellent programming reputation, indeed, it is the core of our
institution. but we currently do not offer anything for rememberance day
and somehow that seems wrong. plus, it would tie in well with the
curriculum requirements here in ontario. also, has anyone had any
experience in designing something like this as an outreach project with a
local high school, etc. any ideas, advice, comments, etc. would be
great!!!
Thanks

"I can believe that," said Bigwig. "Efrafa! Ants led by a dog! But
we're not in Efrafa now. Has he really forgotten that he warned us?"
"Probably he really has. But whether or not, you'd never get him to
admit that he warned you or to listen while you told him he'd been right.
He could no more do that than pass hraka underground."
"But you're an Efrafan. Do you think like that too?"
        "I'm a doe," said Hyzenthlay.
