Greetings!  I am posting this job for someone who is not on the list.  Please do not respond to this email.  Thank you!

Director, Operations.  The National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF), located adjacent to the USAF Museum near Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a new
director of operations.  This person would serve as the deputy to the Executive Director and have as their main responsibilities oversight of
internal and external building operations and maintenance as well as of internal and external exhibits; recruiting and training volunteer staff; and,
assisting in the planning and implementation of annual enshrinement activities.  An ideal candidate for the position would have experience in
museum, historical society, or public education outreach work.  A degree (graduate degree preferred) in history, museum studies,
archival/records management, not-for-profit management or related fields as well as knowledge of aviation history would be beneficial.  The
National Aviation Hall of Fame is open 7 days a week, therefore the incumbent would be expected to work on weekends.  The person hired must
be able to work independently and be self-motivated.  Salary range:  40s to 50s, depending on education and experience.  Chartered by
Congress in 1964, the National Aviation Hall of Fame is an organization dedicated to celebrating the tremendous air and space advancements
made possible by America's innovators and visionaries.  It is a private, 501 (c) 3 organization, not affiliated with any group or government entity.
