I use the internet constantly for research. I have recently returned to
University with a 30 year gap between first and second years and have made
many enquiries on the subject of art history. The response from members of
this and other lists to which I am subscribed, has been phenomenal. I made
one simple enquiry for information on the topic of my term paper and
received many responses. This has meant that I will be able to further
define my topic and do a better job of the paper.

I have cruised through the fine arts of the world on the web and have
visited archaeological sites as well. In addition, in my capacity as
past-president of our local heritage preservation society, I use the web to
correspond with others of like minds.

Regarding Netscape, it may not be the greatest thing since sliced bread
(which i never use as I bak my own) but it sure beats long distance and
travel charges. I have been using it since it came out and have been very
pleased.

The best way to experience the web and discover the wealth of information
out there is to try it out. This is how I started and now I wouldn't be
without it.

Hope this has been of help.

Helen
