PRESS STATEMENT
The Interested Insurers are offering a reward of up to US$400,000 for information leading to
the recovery of 3 paintings reported stolen on Wednesday, 8th August 2001, from the
house of Doña Esther Koplowitz in Madrid, Spain.
The 3 paintings, "El Columpio" by Goya, Foujita´s "Girl with a hat" and "Gitana" by Isidre
Nonell, are the sole property of Don Alberto Alcocer Torra, the former husband of Doña
Esther Koplowitz and are insured by him.
Anyone able to assist in the recovery of these works of art should contact Mark Dalrymple

La compania de Seguros interesada ofrece una recompensa de hasta 400.000 dólares por
cualquier información que conduzca a la recuperación de tres cuadros que fueron robados
el miercoles 8 de agosto de 2001 del domicilio de Doña Esther Koplowitz en Madrid.
Los tres cuadros, "El Columpio" de Goya, "Niña con sombrero" de Foujita y "Gitana" de
Isidre Nonell, son propiedad exclusiva de Don Alberto Alcocer Torra (ex marido de Doña
