This thread is getting a bit out of hand.

Remember folks, the purpose of an integrated pest management plan (IPM) is to
identify pests with specific locations so that further measures can be taken
to block the entry of pests into buildings or to identify a potential
attractions for them (that cafe adjacent to the galleries may need some extra
attention).

So, the purpose is not to have all of your traps simply there to catch and
kill anything that comes across them - the larger purpose is to provide careful
documentation and monitoring so that preventive measures can be taken to keep
the pests out and the collections preserved.

If IPM is undertaken and pursued to its conclusion you should not have to
worry about "killing" large number of rodents or insects, because your building
and policies keep them happily outside where they naturally belong.
