                     POSTION ANNOUNCEMENT
 
The following announcement is being cross-posted to CAAH-L, MEDIEV-L,
MUSEUM-L and VRA-L.  It will appear in the November and January CAA
Careers.  Please post or distribute to any interested individuals.
 
 
ART HISTORIAN.  University of Michigan-Dearborn.  Medieval Art and
Architecture.  Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track, beginning Sept 1,
1995, pending authorization.  Ph.D. in hand by time of appt.
Teaching responsibilities include courses in a double-tracked
concentration (Art History and Museum Practice).  Evidence of
scholarly promise and teaching experience essential.  Ability to
teach surveys in either Western Architecture or Middle Eastern Art
desirable.  Send application letter, CV, and three academic letters
of reference to Prof. Shelley Perlove, Search Committee Chair,
