Thanks to everyone who has responded so far. All of your comments are useful and helpful. Do you think that museums would benefit (and how) if games and such were designed or existed at various appropriate levels that encouraged awareness/experience/engagement, etc., at museums. Again, I feel that we are at early stages as far as the potential of these tools for the museum community. Or, perhaps, existing tools should just be left alone while museums develop their own means of 'communicating' online with their many audiences. Museum-developed systems might then incorporate some of those strategies that are being used with collection or exhibit presentation? Any examples as yet?
