Dear Museum - L:
Our museum is putting together an employee policy and procedure manual.  This is
the first time we will have such a thing, and though we are a part of the Buffal
o
State College Foundation, we have no model to work with.  Has anyone out there
got a manual they would be willing to share?  Can you make recommendations about
references when putting one together?  The Board thinks its an important step to
be taking, but wants to be sure it will stand up legally, particularly the leave
and termination policies that are included?  We certainly don't want to reinvent
the wheel and would appreciate any guidance other museum folks have to offer.
