Somehow I missed the original posting but I personally have been turned off
walking into a museum etc when you get anywhere near a front door and it
smells like cigarette, on one occasion I objected and requested a refund it
was so bad. Although I am a very liberal person on many issues (other than
money, ask my kids) Smoking to me has no place in any public place. AS for
the legality of banning it, you have that right. Many schools restaurants
and nightclubs have wide ranging smoking prohibition policies.
Now mind you I'm not opposed to anyone who has decided to slowly commit
suicide, but when my tax money goes to them to keep em alive when they can't
afford healthcare it irks me. I personally would like to see employers
charge smokers more for healthcare than non smokers
Signed,
Not going to your museum if I smell cigarettes
