I am posting this for a fledgling group that is not on-line. Since they are
new and in the planning stages, they have two questions/concerns:

1. Has anyone out been in the rather unique situation of planning for a
new museum in an old building, and waiting for the old museum
administration to vacate the building? We have a wonderful old federal
arsenal building that has housed a science museum for years. The city
has found a new structure for the science museum, and has appointed a
group to begin planning for some type of military history museum in the
arsenal building. This group is looking for advice, as well as formal
goals and objectives for the *transition team* that will oversee the
changing of the guard of these two institutions.

2. Since the new museum will be looking at military history, are there
any such museum discussion groups or clearinghouse organizations
devoted to interpreting military history/forts/arsenals/ etc?

Thanks in advance for any and all help!
