Go online & check out the 3-part series (not including sidebars) about
museums in the L.A. Times. The series started on Sun. Sept. 5th &
concluded on Tues. Sept. 7th. When you go to http://www.latimes.com the
series is referenced on the front page & at least for this week there
aren't any archival retrieval fees. The sidebar articles are also worth
looking at.

The articles range from looking at museum building boom to the changing
idea of art museums as they become more popular to an article on the
Fowler's new chief curator.
