I have just completed fourteen years in the field of art
education/technology in a public school setting. It's time for a new
challenge. I've noted several openings posted here for museum educators
and am wondering about the possibilities of pursuing something in that
field. I have a passionate love for art (and am also a working artist).
Since many public schools are moving away from the fine arts (usually
because of funding), museums with strong education programs available may
be the only way to make the public aware of the importance art knowledge
plays in a well rounded education. It is my desire to be a part of that in
some way. Thank you for any information as I pursue a new career. You may
contact me off list.
