Jill,

I just procured metal sheet from either hardware stores or from
vendors such as silversmith suppliers. All you need is a small square
2 - 2!/2" each is fine.

You'll need to make sure that all of the edges are filed or ground
smooth especially for hands-on activity.

Your exhibits staff can do this or even maintence staff. The cost
should be minimal, probably under $35.

Cheers!
Dave
