I am in desparate need of some basic, yet unpublished, information about the
Metropolitan Museum of Art.  In particular, I need a copy of the statement
of purpose and/or mission statement.  If anyone on this list is associated
with this institution I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me
in obtaining this information (I have tried the web site as well as
contacting the "information" email address, but have so far been
unsuccessful).
