The Denver Art Museum has an open storage area on its MesoAmerican
floor.  They have connected the various areas via timelines, handouts,
and other materials which describe/explain the objects.  In
conjunction with the open storage there is a Study Center where
lectures are given, hands-on experiences are held and students are
encouraged to study.
