Be sure to visit the NC Museum of Art; they have a fabulous Ansel Adams
exhibit right now. Plus their own collection is good, too.

The NC Museum of Natural Sciences opened their new facility last fall.
Their current temporary exhibit is Jurassic Park dinosaur models & props
from the movie. Their exhibits are excellent and have been very well
received by the public.

The NC State Capitol has just finished a project to restore the Capitol to
its 1840 appearance, and the results are beautiful.

Exploris is billed as a children's museum, but adults enjoy going as well.
One of their exhibits features Anne Frank. There are other places worth
visiting, including the art gallery at NC State University.

Raleigh has a terrific CVB; you may contact them at:

Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau
    One Hannover Square
    PO Box 1879
    Raleigh, NC 27602-2887
    www.raleighcvb.org

They should be able to fix you up with ideas of places to visit, stay, &
eat, as well as some maps. Enjoy your visit!
