Actually, all museums are erotic in a way. Exhibition of objects in
glass cases subjects them to unrestrained looking by museum visitors.
This type of looking has been compared to the pornographic gaze, wherein
the subject of the gaze is exposed, voiceless, and offered up to the
viewer as a specific focus for looking. That might actually be a unique
museum exhibit! Put naked people in glass cases and allow museum
visitors to look unabashedly. The labels could make the
pornography/exhibit connection! Well, maybe in Europe.
