I concur with Kelli Bacon about getting the installation included with the
purchase of the shelving. Several years ago our little local history museum in
Oconomowoc purchased used metal shelving from a local office supply store that
went out of business. We bought the entire store for $300, good shelving at a
great price, right? Wrong! Only later did I discover that all the hundreds of
shelving components dumped in my storage area was mismatched, disassembelled
in a hurry, and the shelving was from three different companies that are not
compatible. To make matters worse, no one will volunteer to re-assembell the
shelves, so it's left to me put them together and me with absolutely no
mechanical ability. (as a child I guess I was playing with dolls instead an
erector set) I did ask our carpenter to help me sort it out and he did but at
his carpenter-hourly wage, so that isn't an option either. My advice, get your
price for shelving with the assembely and installation included. Sorry, I
guess I over-ran my whinning-time today.
